Former national cricketer Yasir Hameed said that he was sure that whenever Mohammad Rizwan became the captain, the result would be the same. Speaking on a private TV program, Hameed, a former Test cricketer, explained that he has played cricket and knows how Rizwan leads the team.
Hameed said that a captain begins to struggle when he takes too much pressure on himself and loses his ability to think clearly. At that point, the captain stops listening to others or seeking advice. He also praised Rizwan for maintaining eye contact with the bowlers, which is one of his strengths.
The former cricketer also mentioned that Sarfaraz Ahmed was the captain before Rizwan, and under his leadership, Pakistan won the ICC Champions Trophy. Sarfaraz came in to bat at number four, and although he dropped a catch in the match against Sri Lanka, Allah honored him, and the team was united with a strong spirit to achieve something.”Hameed Confirms He Knew Rizwan’s Captaincy Would Lead to the Same Outcome” Hameed concluded.
