Once the match resumed, South Africa made full use of the conditions, posting a commanding 312 runs for 9 wickets in their 40 overs.
- Laura Wolvaardt, the South African captain, led from the front with a solid 90 runs.
- Marizanne Kapp remained unbeaten on 68, while Sune Luus added a crucial 61 runs to lift their side to a massive total.
For Pakistan, Sadia Iqbal and Nashra Sandhu were the standout bowlers, picking up three wickets each, while Fatima Sana chipped in with one.

Just as Pakistan was preparing to chase, rain once again intervened, and the game was further reduced to 20 overs. Under the revised conditions, Pakistan was given a target of 234 runs, a mountain to climb in such a short span.

Pakistan’s batting lineup faltered under pressure, managing only 83 runs for 7 wickets in the allotted overs.
