Shoaib Akhtar criticized Pakistan’s bowling performance, stating that if the team had maintained an economy rate of six runs per over, they could have won the match. However, he also highlighted the slow approach of the batsmen, which ultimately contributed to the defeat.
“Our batters are playing too slow, and that’s hurting us. We must take a more proactive approach,” he emphasized.

“Our bowlers are conceding excessive runs in the crucial final overs. They need to work on their control and execution,” he remarked.
