Remembering Shaheed Muhammad Ameen Khan Lala

The tournament is named in memory of Shaheed Muhammad Ameen Khan Lala, a respected figure in the Swat football community. He was the brother of Syab Khan, a key member of the Swat District Football Association, and the father of Muhammad Ayaz Khan, founder and head coach of the Swat Youth Football Academy.

Muhammad Ameen Khan Lala was tragically martyred on October 18, 2023, while mediating a dispute between two parties in Swat. During the reconciliation attempt, gunfire erupted, and he lost his life while trying to bring peace.

Honoring His Legacy Through Football

The tournament serves as both a tribute to his sacrifice and a celebration of his contributions to football in Swat. Local football enthusiasts believe the event will not only provide young players with an opportunity to showcase their skills but also keep the memory of Shaheed Ameen Khan Lala alive in the community.
