Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma has welcomed his first son. According to Indian media reports, the reason behind the 37-year-old captain not traveling to Australia for the Test series has been revealed. Rohit and his wife Ritika were blessed with a baby boy on the night of Friday, November 15, and Saturday, November 16. Due to this, he couldn’t join the Indian team in Australia for the Test series.
However, it is now expected that he might travel to Australia after completing his personal commitments. Reports also mention that this is the second child of Rohit Sharma and his wife Ritika Sajdeh. They already have a 6-year-old daughter, Samaira. Rohit is currently on leave from the Indian team and will miss the first Test match against Australia, starting on November 22 in Perth.
