The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has handed out domestic contracts to 65 female cricketers, a move that highlights its commitment to boosting the growth and development of women’s cricket in Pakistan. Contract Categories and Duration

The PCB has placed the players into two separate categories of contracts:

  • 20 players in the Gold Category
  • 45 players in the Silver Category

The contracts will remain valid for one year, starting from July 2025 until June 2026.

Who Made the List?

Among the 65 contracted players:

  • 6 are international cricketers with national team experience.
  • 23 are Under-19 players, highlighting PCB’s focus on grooming future talent.
  • 19 belong to the Emerging category, giving them the opportunity to step up to higher levels of competition.

Selection Criteria

The selection process was carried out by members of the National Women’s Selection Committee, including former Pakistan cricketer Asad Shafiq and ex-women’s captain Batool Fatima.
Selections were based on:
