The Pakistan national cycling team is set to depart for Thailand on February 3 to participate in the Asian Road Cycling Championship. The championship will take place from February 7 to 16, featuring teams from various Asian countries.
Team Selection Process and Training Camp
According to Syed Azhar Ali Shah, President of the Pakistan Cycling Federation, player trials were held in Karachi to shortlist talented cyclists for the event. Following the trials, a dedicated training camp was set up to finalize the national squad.
The selected team consists of six male and two female cyclists who will represent Pakistan in the championship. The delegation will fly from Karachi to Thailand to compete in the event.

Asian Confederation Elections on February 5
In addition to the championship, the Asian Confederation elections are scheduled to be held in Thailand on February 5. Representatives from 44 countries will participate in the elections. Azhar Ali Shah confirmed his participation as a management committee member in the election proceedings.
