An agreement has been reached to hold a baseball series between Pakistan and India. After the conclusion of the Arab Baseball Classic tournament in Dubai, the baseball federations of both countries exchanged souvenirs. During the meeting, the federations discussed organizing mutual men’s and women’s baseball series.
Harish Kumar, Secretary General of the Indian Baseball Federation, invited Pakistan to play in Haryana, and both federations agreed to make the series possible. During the discussion, Harish Kumar assured me that he would speak with the government regarding visas and other matters. He mentioned that efforts would be made to facilitate travel through the Wagah Border, making it easier to host the event in Lahore.
Harish Kumar further added that they are eager to host Pakistan in Haryana. Before returning home, Pakistani players took pictures with Indian citizens and players at the airport. The Pakistani players also gifted a team shirt to a member of the Indian junior baseball team.
