National Inter-School Padel Championship Kicks Off November 7

The National Inter-School Padel Championship 2025, organized by the Pakistan Padel Federation (PPF), is set to kick off on November 7 at the New Maidan, KMC Sports Complex, Karachi. The event aims to promote the fast-growing sport of padel among school-level athletes across the country.

According to PPF President Muhammad Mateen, the tournament will run until November 9 and feature competitions in four categories:

  • Boys Under-14
  • Boys Under-16
  • Boys Under-18
  • Girls Under-16

Cash Prizes and Awards Worth PKR 500,000

The championship carries a total prize pool of PKR 500,000, making it one of the most rewarding school-level padel events in Pakistan.

At the closing ceremony, winning teams and standout players will receive cash prizes, trophies, certificates, and official event T-shirts. The organizers hope that these rewards will inspire more students to take up the sport and represent Pakistan in future national and international competitions.

Promoting Padel Among Pakistani Youth

President Mateen emphasized that the event reflects the federation’s commitment to developing padel at the grassroots level. He said that by engaging school players early, the PPF aims to build a stronger foundation for the sport’s growth in the country.

He added, “Our goal is to create more opportunities for young boys and girls to showcase their skills and learn the spirit of healthy competition.”

A Step Toward Expanding Padel Nationwide

The upcoming inter-school event is part of the PPF’s broader initiative to expand padel’s reach beyond major cities. The federation plans to organize similar youth tournaments in Lahore and Islamabad in the coming months, helping to identify and nurture new talent for Pakistan’s national padel team.
