India’s bowling coach Morne Morkel has revealed what he believes could be the key to India’s success in the upcoming Asia Cup. According to Morkel, the presence of genuine all-rounders in the squad will play a decisive role in ensuring balance and depth.
He explained that players who can contribute with both bat and ball not only strengthen the playing XI but also give the team management greater flexibility in strategy and selection.

Morkel highlighted Shivam Dube as a player of special importance, pointing out his ability to bowl four overs consistently while also adding value with the bat. “I’ve always stressed that all-rounders must work equally hard on both skills.
