Pakistani national cricketer Imad Wasim has reportedly sent a legal notice to his former wife Sania Ashfaq, rejecting all allegations made against him.
Lawyer Denies Allegations
According to Alia Zareen Abbasi, who is representing Imad Wasim, all claims by Sania Ashfaq are baseless and have been completely denied. She confirmed that medical records have been obtained, which refute any claims of forced pregnancy termination. The legal notice has been formally delivered to Ashfaq regarding these allegations.
Travel and Tour Records Support His Case
Abbasi stated that the decision for Imad and Sania to travel to the United States for the 2023 World Cup was mutually agreed upon. Supporting documents, including medical confirmation and complete records of their tours to the UAE, Australia, and England in November 2023, have also been collected and will be presented in court.
Separation and Child Custody
The lawyer added that in November 2024, the couple separated due to personal differences. At that time, Sania Ashfaq was pregnant, and arrangements were made to wait until the child’s birth. During this period, Imad Wasim continued to bear all expenses.
Their son was born in July 2025, and Imad Wasim has continued to take full responsibility for all three children, including financial and caregiving duties.
This legal action marks the latest development in the ongoing personal dispute between the former couple, with the cricket star emphasizing his commitment to his family and refuting all unfounded accusations.
