Ibrahim Mohib Claims No. 1 Spot in Pakistan’s Under-19 Squash Rankings

Talented Pakistan Army player and national champion Ibrahim Mohib has strengthened his position as the number one in Pakistan’s Under-19 squash ranking. With impressive performance and consistent hard work, Ibrahim has claimed the top spot in the latest national ranking, issued by the Pakistan Squash Federation.

Ibrahim has left all other players in his age group behind to reach the peak position. Known for his steady improvement, he has showcased his abilities internationally, making a mark in junior championships in Australia and Japan. Ibrahim approaches each tournament with fresh energy and passion, and his performance continues to improve over time. He also holds the title of Pakistan’s top-ranked player in the Under-17 National Championship.

In an interview, Ibrahim shared details of his daily routine, emphasizing his commitment to both fitness and the game. His day starts with one to two hours of intense exercise in the morning, followed by rigorous training on the squash courts. He trains again in the afternoon to further sharpen his physical and mental skills and enhance his game.

Ibrahim says that legendary Pakistani squash champions like Jansher Khan, Jahangir Khan, Mohibullah Khan, and Qamar Zaman inspire him, and he dreams of becoming a world champion like them. He also expressed gratitude to his coaches for their essential role in improving his technical skills, motivation, and determination.

“I trust in Allah and am committed to never giving up on my hard work. one day I will become a world champion and make Pakistan proud,” Ibrahim said.

Ibrahim is set to participate in the Scottish Junior Championship this December, aiming to shine there as well and bring honor to Pakistan. His determination represents a bright future for both himself and Pakistan squash.
