England and New Zealand to Kick Off 3-Test Series on Nov 28 in Christchurch. The series has been named the Crowe-Thorpe Trophy in honor of England’s Graham Thorpe and New Zealand’s Martin Crowe.
The trophy is uniquely crafted from the bats of both late cricketers, donated by their families. The bats used for the trophy are the ones Thorpe used to score a century against New Zealand and Crowe used to score a century against England.
