Chasing 233 runs, South Africa reached the target with three balls to spare. Chloe Tryon top-scored with a vital 62, while Marizanne Kapp added 56 runs, both showing great composure under pressure.
Nadine de Klerk played a match-winning cameo, remaining unbeaten on 37 off 29 balls to seal the win. For Bangladesh, Nahida Akter took two wickets, while Rabiya and Fahima picked up one apiece.
